We're forging ahead into more and more new games here at Method, with our latest venture being particularly exciting: introducing the new Method Rocket League team! The newest members of team Method, Al0t, Metsanauris and Mognus have been together for a while now and have participated in many tournaments, with plenty of appearances in the weekly Gfinity Cups, including a first place finish. They also made quite a splash at the bigger events, with a 2nd place finish at Europe Midsummer Mayhem and went on to grab the 5-6th spot in the premier league: the Rocket League Championship Series, Season 3. This very talented roster was also recently named the #2 EU team in the Reddit Power Rankings, and is heading to the Gfinity Elite Series as well as many international tournaments, with their eyes firmly set on the next season of the RLCS!
Very much looking forward to working with this talented team. This is a roster with enormous potential in an esport that has been growing rapidly over the last year. Rocket League is a fantastic viewer experience and I expect its esports scene to grow even more in the future. - Method co-owner Sascha "Rak" Steffens
As mentioned above, Rocket League itself is constantly growing, having reached over 30 million players in April, and its esports division is drastically expanding as well. The very recently finished Season 3 of the RLCS had an already impressive prize pool of $300,000, and with developers Psyonix investing $2.5 million into the Rocket League esports scene, $1 million of which will go directly to the prize pools of various tournaments throughout the year, the game is poised to become one of the major esports titles in the world.
And now let's welcome the team that will be representing Method in this new arena, including some demonstrations of their skills:
