As usual, early into every patch, we aim to get the highest ilvl items first purely because of raw intellect gain that outweighs perfect secondary stats on items.
Tier Set
Our new Tier Bonus is good in Raid, but it only really excels if you play into it. What I mean by that is continuously spreading around Tidal Reservoir buffs to people using Healing Wave or Chain Heal to players that already have Riptide on them. In Mythic+ we don’t get a ton of value by spreading additional Riptides around since there are only 5 players, so our 4pc loses quite a lot of value there. It’s still worth equipping, but you won’t be massively behind if you only have your 2pc early on.
- 2pc: Chain Heal, Healing Surge, and Healing Wave mark their initial target with a Tidal Reservoir causing them to receive 15% of all Riptide healing you deal for 15 sec.
This bonus is quite simple - you heal a player, that player will now receive some additional Riptide healing for the next 15 sec. You don’t need to go out of your way to maximize the throughput from Tidal Reservoir itself, instead you want to try to apply Tidal Reservoir to players who already have Riptide with a duration of at least 15 seconds so maximize the 4pc.
- 4pc: Riptide healing is increased by 25%. If Riptide is active on the same target as Tidal Reservoir, its heal over time effect has a 6% chance to create a new Riptide on a nearby ally.
The additional spreading of Riptide is the big part of the 4pc here. It’s important to note that Healing Waves from Primordial Wave do not apply Tidal Reservoir at all, and the additional Riptides don't interact with Primal Tide Core or Deeply Rooted Elements.

Trinkets
This season we have access to many different stat-sticks. Our best setup will likely involve 2 of these stat-sticks (really whichever you can get your hands on at a high ilvl), or 1 stat-stick and Echoing Tyrstone from Dawn of the Infinite.
Pip’s Emerald Friendship Badge, Coagulated Genesaur Blood, and Sea Star are all stat sticks and quite close in value, so take your pick.
Embellishment
Our best embellishments are currently the Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards, followed by Venom-Steeped Stompers and Elemental Lariat.
I’d probably start with the Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards, and then either Venom-Steeped Stompers or Elemental Lariat depending on your gear needs.
