Jitianhong and Alpha are both still working through the Fatescribe encounter, JTH the closest to a kill with a best attempt of 5% thus far.
ChaoJie have come very close to killing Painsmith Raznal, with a best of 1.91%, and will soon be progressing to Guardian, where they will join Mate, the Korean guild that took down Painsmith earlier today.

A huge congratulations to Echo on their World First Sylvanas kill. What made that final pull especially impressive is that throughout the encounter they had zero deaths, showing just how good their execution was. The boss took them 176 total pulls and their final kill composition included:
- Tanks: Brewmaster Monk & Protection Paladin
- MDPS: 3x Arms Warriors, Havoc DH, Unholy DK & Enhancement Shaman
- RDPS: 4x Boomkin, MM Hunter, Arcane Mage & 2x Demo Locks
- Healer: 2x Holy Paladins & 2x Disc Priest
One key difference in their approach to maximising their overall DPS when compared to Limit's strategy was the usage of Night Fae Boomkins, bringing their infamous Convoke the Spirits ability. Limit had been opting to use Venthyr Boomkins, theoretically the better choice but in reality for progressing this boss, Ardenweald's finest have clearly come out on top.
Echo have defeated Sylvanas Windrunner World First!
Alpha have defeated Painsmith Raznal, Asia 5th!
Echo have a new best health percentage when exiting Phase 2 of 76.6%.
Looking at the EU guilds on Sylvanas Windrunner, they are all back into Mythic and ready to start their raiding day.

Complexity Limit have had some really close attempts, and are putting in a late shift in order to try and kill it ahead of Echo.
Speaking of which, Echo are online and doing another split raid before going back into Mythic. Today is looking like the day we see Sylvanas Windrunner fall!
Limit is still at it on Sylvanas though they have to be tired. With as close as Echo was, the pressure is definitely on to get her done tonight.
Club Camel and Imperative down Guardian of the First Ones and this brings them both to 7/10.
Limit wiped at 45.5% of Sylvanas health. Warcraft logs shows .8% wipe and they are going in to pull 186. This is so crazy to watch, it is right there and then boom.
45.8% wipe for Limit. Something is happening.
Limit wipes at 47.3%. They are really trying to to find that extra.
Limit reaches 47.79% health on Sylvanas. With several hours left of raiding for NA, they could actually get this should they find the dps they need to make it happen.
Sylvanas Vitals Check
- Echo having hit 46.4% health, need to get her health to 45% in order to "kill" her.
- Limit hit 49.8% health. They have a lot of raiding time to close that gap before Echo starts back first thing tomorrow.

Aversion are due to be live soon and will be looking to secure their kill on Fatescribe Roh-Kalo, having reached 70% after 7 pulls yesterday. Impact have already been pulling that boss today and have reached the 40% mark after 22 pulls.
Aster have recorded a new best on Guardian of the First Ones with a 15.5% wipe. Looking very likely they'll be the next guild to secure a kill and move to 7/10.
There seems to be evidence emerging from the Echo camp that there has been a hotfix to Sylvanas Windrunner, with an enrage being added to Colossus in P2 causing the add to deal 900% increase damage. Their current discussions would imply that the encounter is now not possible to overcome this reset.
Skyline have killed Painsmith Raznal! World 12th, Asia 2nd after 171 pulls, with a very dramatic ending involving some solo Mage heroics!
Echo are back in the raid and pulling Sylvanas. Will we see a World First today?

Aster has just reached a new best of 2.26% on Painsmith Raznal, will they be the first Asian guild to defeat the boss?
Looking at the leading two guilds on the fight to claim World First Sylvanas Windrunner, Complexity Limit has finished their raiding day and Echo will soon be starting for theirs.
It's been said that Echo's focus now will be adjusting their approach to funnel more single-target DPS during Phase 2, including composition changes. The Echo Mail wearers will be happy as they will being doing Mail splits this morning.
Later today, when Echo return to Mythic Sylvanas Windrunner, you won't want to miss it!
Club Camel down Painsmith Raznal, claiming the World 9th, NA 3rd kill.
Limit gets a best pull on Sylvanas of 11.2% with 126 pulls far. BDGG best attempt is the same as previously reported, 67.9%.

Looking at it further, Sylvanas Windrunner being defeated at 45% was also seemingly alluded to in official Patch Notes dated July 13th with the following text: "The total damage players must deliver to Sylvanas Windrunner has been reduced by approximately 5% in Normal and Heroic difficulties".
After the shock of getting Sylvanas Windrunner sub 50%, Echo are calling it a night and may be doing more splits or M+ tomorrow for gear. They will now be strategizing how to squeeze out even more DPS and considering what classes they are bringing for more damage.
The belief was that Mythic Sylvanas Windrunner actually dies at 45% (instead of at 50% health on Heroic/Normal), as data-mined on July 8th and is now assumed to be confirmed by Echo getting Sylvanas to 49%.
What's also very interesting here is that by watching Echo's progress, Complexity Limit have been able to confirm this information, and can now see what it will take to defeat the last boss. They have jumped out of Mythic and into more split runs. Perhaps with enough time in their raiding day to claim that World First whilst EU sleeps?
Echo hits 49% of Sylvanas health, expecting a kill and that's not what happened. This is why I have been giving the overall encounter % as the math was not adding up. Many assumed it was like Heroic and Normal, which honestly was logical but in truth it feels like it should be different on Mythic.
FatSharkYes downs Guardian of the First Ones claiming World 7th and EU 5th for this boss.
LESS THAN 1% wipe for Echo on Sylvanas. This is going to happen.
Aversion kill Guardian of the First Ones taking World 6th, EU 4th bringing them 7/10.

The above % is based on the overall encounter, and will be different than what these guilds streams will show.
Anyone else feel the electricity in the air?
Aversion take down Painsmith Raznal! World 8th, EU 6th after 145 pulls. They will now join FatSharkYes and Impact on Guardian.
Aster are continually reaching the sub-10% mark on Painsmith Raznal, however it is getting late local time. They'll need a very clean pull to get the boss down and take Asia 1st before heading to bed.

Further progress is being made on Painsmith Raznal over in Asia, with updated best pulls coming in from a variety of guilds:
Aster: 8% Jitianhong: 20% Alpha, Skyline & ChaoJie: 39%

Kel'Thuzad and his remnants shatter before BDGG, bestowing them World 3rd, NA 2nd for the kill. They are now 9/10 Mythic, Sylvanas bound joining Limit & Echo.
We are inching closer to end of NA raid day, but we are not there yet.
Limit gains further progress on Sylvanas, passing the previous best attempt from about 2 hours ago, 73.03% nearing 87 pulls.
BDGG is at 11.62% with 48 pulls on Kel’Thuzad. Sounding tired, but determined.

Vesper kills Soulrender, gaining 9th kill spot for NA.
BDGG is really pushing Kel'Thuzad to the brink, reaching 20.87% for a best attempt 31 pulls and counting. As a side note, this is actually a really fun fight to watch.
Limit is entering the 70 pull range with Sylvanas with no new best attempt percent wise at 77.82%. (55% overall encounter progress). Not uncommon, end boss fights are largely about pacing and consist pulls at each progression barrier.
BDGG is currently at dinner until 6pm PST. When they return, they are in a really good position to see Kel'Thuzad dead before the night is over, with a best attempt of 33.5% and 25 pulls.
As I mentioned at earlier in the day, one thing we have come to expect from Limit is their analytical approach to working through tough mechanics or blockers. Before they broke for dinner, Limit saw a new best attempt of 77.82%. (55% overall encounter progress)
This progress got them to Phase 3, which is insane. Will we see Sylvanas go down before Echo comes online? Honestly, this whole race has been one shake up after another. It truly is anyone's game to win.

Limit has a lot of NA time to hone their execution, nearing 51 pulls. They can take their time today, she is not going down easily. Stream: 83.35% Warcraftlogs: 66.3%
Reminder, this encounter is assumed to end when Sylvanas reaches 50% health. The stream best attempt tracking is in relation to her health while Warcraftlogs data is overall encounter progression.
Soulrender Dormazain falls to Flashpoint KTB, taking NA 8th for the kill.
Echo is progressing deeper into the Sylvanas battle, working through and refining phase 2 hitting 81.9% (Stream) | 62.3% (WCL) with 37 pulls in.
Limit in equal measure, working through mechanics and adjusting. This is of-course what we have come to expect. Best attempt is 83.9% (Stream) | 67.5% (WCL) and 29 pulls so far.
Reminder, this encounter is assumed to end when Sylvanas reaches 50% health.
Final boss fights are always an interesting watch. We get to see these top guilds tweak as they go, problem solve on the fly and really show the skills that brought them to this very day.
Method sees a best attempt on Kel'Thuzad of 25.6% at a around 17 pulls. They likely have about another hour give or take to tick this boss down before sleep.
Pieces, the only guild currently on Fatescribe, is sitting at about 45% with around 11 pulls.
Painsmith progress is getting close for Aversion (13.6%) and Fatsharkyes (14.2%).
BDGG downs Fatescribe Roh-Kalo earning World 4th, NA 2nd. This puts them 8/10 and join Method on Kel'Thuzad.
Sneaky sneaky Zero Empathy, sliding in a Soulrender Dormazain kill, bringing them to 5/10.
Mid-morning for NA, evening for EU we have a day ahead of us and to my dismay, Sylvanas requires math for the % progress. Have no fear, I will make that a bit less math for our updates today.
Given this fight essentially stops at 50% of Sylvanas health Normal and Heroic, the assumption is the same is true for Mythic unless we get lucky with a super secret phase. Fingers crossed.
Streams for Limit and Echo are tracking for the % on best attempt is using a creative math equation for that number based on the bosses health, which naturally will be different from warcraftlogs.com based off the assumption the fight is done at 50%. Warcraftlogs gives the progress % based on the overall encounter progress.
In the interest of accurate updates, I am going to give you both numbers in the event Warcraft logs ends up being the correct number.
Limit
- Stream: 83.9% with 18 pulls
- Warcraftlogs: 67.5%
Echo
- Stream: 83.9% with 24 pulls
- Warcraftlogs: 67.5%

Complexity Limit are back from their break, and with their first pull of Sylvanas Windrunner being 85.4% (boss health), they have already almost matched Echo's progress, but have yet to see the first transition phase.
Complexity Limit and Echo are taking a break, let the race to kill the final boss and claim the World First title begin!
Taking a look at the top 5 Asian guilds, and they are going strong trying to give Painsmith Raznal a taste of his own medicine.
As the newest guild to progress the boss, Chao Jie have had a very steep learning curve, and are now consistently moving into the first intermission, wiping at the 72% mark.

- JTH - Painsmith Raznal - 50%
- Aster - Painsmith Raznal - 40%
- Alpha - Painsmith Raznal - 69%

There is nothing that indicates these guilds are ready to stop for the night, just yet.
Complexity Limit have defeated Kel'Thuzad, World 2nd and US/OC 1st!
Echo's progress is fast so far, with a new best of 70% (85% boss health) on pull number 3.
Looking at their Kel'Thuzad kill, it only took 22 pulls to defeat the boss. Lets hope that Sylvanas Windrunner isn't such a short boss and puts up a fight for a challenging end boss!
Echo waste no time, achieving a best of 88.5% on their first pull of Sylvanas Windrunner.
Their second pull is already looking better than their first!
Echo have defeated Kel'Thuzad, World 1st and putting them to the top of the leaderboard!

They join Aster, Skyline, Jitianhong and Alpha on Painsmith Raznal.
Echo jump ahead of Complexity Limit with a new best attempt of 4% (Remnant dead, just Kel'Thuzad left alive), compared to Complexity Limit's best of 27%.
It looks like we will be seeing Kel'Thuzad being defeated today. It's now interesting to if see Echo secure world first Kel'Thuzad before Complexity Limit, who will soon be going back into the raid.
Pieces has defeated Guardian of the First Ones, World 5th and EU 3rd!
Progress is going strong today, although with a distinct lack of boss kills from the top 10 for a while, hopefully that will change soon.
Until then, here is a quick overview of some of the best attempts from guilds so far:
- Echo - Kel'Thuzad - 44.55%
- Method - Fatescribe Roh-Kalo - 39.38%
- Pieces - Guardian of the First Ones - 1.00%
- Aversion - Painsmith Raznal - 38.5%

Alpha has defeated Soulrender Dormazain, Asia 4th!
After more than a day on this boss, Alpha now heads over to Painsmith Raznal to join up with Astra, Skyline and JTH. All four guilds are now enjoying a well deserved dinner break, but will get started shortly to try and get Painsmith Raznal down before the end of their day.
We still don't have eyes on Chao Jie as they are not streaming, so we are not entirely sure of their progress.
Echo have defeated Fatescribe Roh-Kalo, World 2nd and EU 1st!
Echo are getting very close to securing the World 2nd kill of Fatescribe Roh-Kalo, with multiple low % attempts today, their last wipe was at 4%.
Over in China, Alpha is steadily beating down those numbers on Soulrender Dormazain, now with a new best of 8%. Aster have had a couple of unlucky pulls. JTH have really cleaned up their runs through the spiked maze during the first intermission and now holds a new best of 55%. Similarly, Skyline have also really improved getting through the first intermission.

With such a low attempt, it really could be killed on any pull, so check their stream out to catch it live.
Taking a look at Painsmith Raznal and what Skyline, Aster and JTH are going through right now, we can see:
- Skyline, they get through the first intermission with a few dead, similar to the learning curve of most of the guilds that have killed the boss so far.
- JTH have similar issues with running trough the spiked maze and comes through with a few more dead than Skyline.
- Finally, we have Aster, who have just started their learning curve. They finished their splits a couple of hours ago and are currently taking a quick break.
Well into the afternoon in China (15:40pm Shanghai), Aster, Skyline, JTH and Alpha are still pulling. As you know Aster, Skyline and JTH managed to kill Soulrender Dormazain and have now started the steep learning curve on Painsmith Raznal.
Alpha is still on Soulrender, but it is looking more than likely they should be able to take him down today.
Chao Jie is currently not streaming, so we are unsure of their progression today, but when we said our farewells last night they were still on Soulrender Dormazain. We hope they will be booting up the stream shortly!
While BDGG meeting for secret strategy things prepping for Fatescribe, looks like Limit is making really solid progress on Kel'thuzad. Best attempt is about 44%, making it to remnant 2 pretty consistently. Praise to the nifty tracker they added to their stream, making it easier to see progress on pulls for this boss.
Guardian of the First Ones was no match for BDGG as it is dead and they join Method and Echo at the 7/10 party. BDGG take World 4th, NA 2nd!
While there is a quick quiet moment, checking in around NA, Limit's focus after they are done with break will of-course be back to beating on Kel'thuzad. I really want to have a solid % attempt to give here, but with KT and Remnant of KT, its a bit tricky to give a quick picture. There are 3 separate Remnants of KT that need to be killed. With that said, I am going to do my best to give KT % and how many remnants have been killed. Math is hard, no judgement.
Overall they are at about 59.2%, with 2 Remnants killed and a pull count of 25. This may take them a bit to get into their groove, but still probably better than Painsmith.
Club Camel brings home NA 5th for Soulrender, making them 5/10.
BDGG just wiped at like .1% on Guardian. Better get in here while they are taking a dinner break: https://twitch.tv/BigDumbGaming

Complexity Limit seem to be making light work of the early Fatescribe Roh-Kalo phases, recording a best of 48.42% after only 8 pulls.

With the EU primed to wake up and start EU progress day #3, guilds are logging in and starting up.
With Echo still holding onto their splits, it will be interesting to see when they choose to do them. Complexity Limit appear to have stopped for today, so its quite possible Echo will take that opportunity to start their day off in Heroic splits before more attempts on Fatescribe Roh-Kalo.
Complexity Limit have defeated Guardian of the First Ones, World 2nd, US/OC 1st!
Strawberry Puppy Kisses gives Ner’zhul the death kiss, getting US 11th.

While BDGG is doing some Heroic splits and Limit is 143 pulls in on Painsmith at 19.8%, I recommend popping over to say hello to Midwinter and xD. They have been working hard on Soulrender and could use a little pick me up. Of-course, by pick me up I mean spamming tacos in chat.
Of-course as I finish my large update post, Club Camel downs Remnant of Ner'zhul, taking US 5th which puts them 4/10.

The battle for Asia 1st Remnant of Ner'zhul is heating up! Skyline (18%), JTH (3.8%) and Aster (3.5%) are all within kill-range now, and a clean pull from any one of them could lead to the kill being secured.
Alpha and ChaoJie are a little behind, currently wiping in the 30-35% range.

Here I am thinking NA gave everything they had and took a small break to do dailies. Jokes on me, BDGG score a World 5th Soulrender Dormazain kill after only 47 pulls. This shoots them to World rank 3rd and NA rank 2nd. What a day for action.

For those just tuning in, here's a recap for you! It’s been a busy day in the EU region and we have seen a plethora of guilds trying their best in the Mythic raids since it opened this morning at 10:00 CEST. The first boss, The Tarragrue, seems to be a fairly easy boss for most guilds, while Eye of the Jailer presents a little more of a challenge. The third boss, The Nine, has actually taken most guilds less pulls than they required on the Eye, with 10 EU guilds currently having passed this point without much difficulty.
At 3/10M guilds are presented with the choice of tackling either Remnant of Ner’zhul or Soulrender Dormazain. Both bosses are proving to be a ramp up in difficulty, despite the hotfixes that came in overnight on Soulrender.
Thus far only Echo of the EU guilds have managed to kill Remnant, claiming the World 2nd and EU 1st. They are currently in the lead on Soulrender too with a current best of 6.8% after 17 pulls.
Pieces and Method are battling out on each of these bosses with Pieces on Soulrender Dormazain with a best of 17.1% after 24 pulls. Method meanwhile chose to progress Remnant first and have a current best of 13% after 29 pulls.

Progress continues for the EU guilds that have reached Soulrender Dormazain, with Echo and Pieces on 47% and 42% respectively. It is worth noting that Pieces have been on the boss for longer however, given that they opted to work on Soulrender first rather than Remnant of Ner'zhul.
