The Warm-up: Nighthold Heroic Progress

Three nre Gul'dan kills complete the EU top 5, with Ebrius, Distilled and Divergent getting to that 10/10.

We have at least 15 guilds that are 10/10, and the Asia servers wasted no time either, with Style War grabbing the first Gul'dan kill over there, followed by AFK R and Right. Meanwhile, Nurfed grabbed the World 5th and US 3rd and finished up Nighthold as well.

Not much Gul'dan action during the day as we only have one more kill recently, with Openness getting to 10/10. They also muscled in to the top 5 on almost all other bosses as well.

Meanwhile in the EU, we already have a Gul'dan down! Prestige Gaming went through Nighthold quickly and got to that 10/10! They also shared most of the first kills with another Russian guild, Fusion, with only the first three bosses escaping their grasp, and all three going to my new front-runner for best name ever (sorry FatSharkYes): Hexual Sealing.

The EU top 5 for all 10 bosses is spread between Prestige Gaming, Fusion, Exorsus, doom doom doomer, Trainwreck, Golden Age and Hexual Sealing in various combinations you can check out in the tables below.

And it's 10/10! Two guilds have downed Gul'dan: Strawberry Puppy Kisses and Solus are done with Heroic Nighthold! Solus also grabbed the No.1 spot on Star Augur Etraeus, who has been downed 103 additional times since, while SPK got there first on Grand Magistrix Elisande, with 10 other guilds following suit.

Solus also retroactively grabbed a first on Tichondrius, and 2nd spots on High Botanist Tel'arn and Krosus and a 3rd on Spellblade Aluriel. The rankings on the first three bosses stayed the same, while the others have been messed around a little.

Two more down! Tichondrius and High Botanist Tel'arn have joined the other dead Heroic bosses, downed by Aint Misbehavin and Reload, respectively. That brings us to 7/10 down in Nighthold, with only Etraeus, Elisande and Gul'dan left! Our old Heroic friends Untold Prohpecy also jumped on the Tichondrius bandwagon.

We also have a battle of the fancy names on CA and Trilliax, as Gnome Ravagers take 4th and 3rd on them, displacing Leprechauns from 5th place. The Gnomes also got 3rd on Spellblade Aliuriel, and 2nd on Krosus  just ahead of Aint Misbehavin on both bosses.

No new bosses have died (or at least been registered as having died), but we do have a big change to the first kills on the first three bosses: unemployed have popped up on top for Skorpyron, CA and Trilliax and Leprechauns have also arrived at No.5 on the same three bosses.

More stuff! 5 bosses now down as Spellblade Aluriel and Krosus fall to Reload who are now the only ones on 5/10, and JUST CHILL retake the WF on Chronomatic Anomaly and the second slot on Aluriel. Check out the tables below for even more changes.

And the kills have started pouring in, with three bosses down! Skorpyron, Chronomatic Anomaly and Trilliax have been defeated by Stellar, Ataxyia and JUST CHILL, respectively. The rankings are sure to change and more bosses are already dead, so stay tuned for more updates.

Servers are now up and the Nighthold is open but, as usual, it's going to take quite a while for progress to start updating, so check back on a couple of hours when we should start seeing some (very quickly thereafter changed) results pop up!

The final raid of Tier 19 is, well, finally here. It'll be one more week until the very top guilds a re unleashed into Mythic and the real progress race starts, but this time around Heroic week is going to play a bigger role than usual. Since 7.1.5 was released a week ago and brought with it a lot of class changes and Tuesday/Wednesday's reset will bring yet more balancing with it, this Heroic week will be important in figuring out how the affected classes now fit into the raid setup.

Meanwhile, we'll be focusing on our usual warm-up lap, following the guilds we don't get to see that much during Mythics as they go for some Heroic World Firsts! There's a lot of hype surrounding Nighthold, with the weirdness that was EN and ToV, so let's ease in to the race with this Heroic coverage!
