Raiding: Mastery > Crit > Haste > Vers

Raiding (Emerald Blossom): Mastery > Haste = Crit > Vers

Mythic+: Crit = Haste = Vers > Mastery

Stat Outline

These are the current recommended stats to follow, however keep in mind that Item level will always be better if there is quite a difference in the items, as intellect is very important.

Mastery is extremely strong in Raiding and you will want to get as much of this as you can. Ideally every piece of gear you are wearing will have mastery on it.

It is important to note that even in Reversion focused builds, mastery is still well and above your best stat. Despite critical strike being more important, you will almost always gain more healing from just gemming/enchanting mastery as well as seeking out mastery pieces, even if you have what you consider to be a low amount of crit. In a perfect world, most of your pieces have some combination of crit/mastery but you will never drop item level for that to happen.

In emerald blossom builds, Crit loses some of its value as we aren’t relying on reversion to do most of our healing and thus don’t need to extend the duration of it as much as possible.

In Mythic+, mastery loses almost all of its value as it does nothing to increase your damage, whereas every other stat impacts both your healing and damage in some way. Versatility also reduces your damage taken. While this won’t matter in most keys, it can be useful as you start pushing higher and higher keys which makes it more valuable. Otherwise, stats will be quite close in value and you can’t go wrong with any combination of it.

Races

Evoker is only available to the Dracthyr race.

Enchants

Sophic Devotion is the best enchant in patch 10.1.5

Leech enchants exist for both bracers and cloak which you will want to target in most cases. Sometimes avoidance on cloak can be good, but default to leech will often give you the most value.

Both Waking Stats and Reserve of Intellect are viable chest enchant choices. You can consider staying away from the extra mana and prefer the full stats increase as it won’t often make a big difference.

Ring enchants will be dependent on your affixes. Mastery is the best for raiding and in Mythic+ you can use ring enchants just to balance your stats a bit between critical strike and versatility.

While Watcher’s Loam may be the obvious boot enchant, Plainsrunner Breeze isn’t an awful option as more movement speed can always be good in helping you get around and avoid mechanics.

Patch 10.1 also introduced a new belt enchant called Shadowed Belt Clasp which increases your stamina by 106.

Gems

In Dragonflight, you have standard secondary stat gems, but also gems that increase your primary and secondary. It is recommended to primary stat when possible, and then gem for the content you are doing, feel free to follow the stat guide to help you. If you are raiding, mastery gems are great. It is recommended to use the double stat gems, an example being Sensei’s Neltharite which provides an additional +70 mastery and +33 critical strike. In m+ you can use gems to balance your stats more, leaning towards stats other than mastery.

Consumables

Health Potion: Refreshing Healing Potion

Mana Potion:

When possible in an encounter, use whatever will reward you the most mana. Sleeping potions will give you more mana than an instant mana potion if fully channeled. After nerfs to Potion of Chilled Clarity, this potion should not be used under any circumstance. You will want to stick to Potion of Frozen Focus and Aerated Mana Potion.

Flask: Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage for the highest throughput. You could also opt for the Phial of Tepid Versatility for more defensive value.

Food: As always with food, feasts are your best option but any mastery is fine in raid, and whatever balances / is best for you in Mythic+.

Rune: For raiding you’ll want to use the Hissing Rune. For m+ you’ll look to round out your stats with either the Buzzing Rune or Howling Rune.
